Campus Guidelines
As with any community and any school, The Pagan Online Campus has specific guidelines which we require from all of our members.

1) The Pagan Online Campus is a web site free of religious hang-ups. You are welcome no matter what religion you are; pagan, christian, satanist, atheist. While you are free to write poems or short stories about and involving your religion, you are not free to start religious discussions and debates. We don't want to make any member uncomfortable. Also know, we don't want any member who would feel uncomfortable or feel holier-than-thou around people of another belief system. If you feel you might be uncomfortable around any religion that is different from your own, please don't apply. This is a "community", how can we communicate or even co-exist when one is not willing or able to?

2) Have respect for your teachers. Without our students we are nothing. That goes for our teachers as well. They give up their free time to teach classes they don't get paid for. All they ask in return is a little respect. You don't have to like a lesson, or like a teacher, but you also don't have to treat that teacher like garbage. This is a three strikes rule. If any three teachers complain about you (or one teacher complains three separate times) we will remove you from the campus. This is a place where we must have respect for each other.

3) Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT participate in flame wars. ANYONE found participating in a fight or posting spam will be banned. We want to keep this a care free and enjoyable place, which becomes more difficult when someone is insulting you or your way of life. Our first duty is to our members; their well-being, safety and comfort comes first.

4) You are more than welcome to promote your group or web site in the appropriate places. That being the Member's Web sites board. While it is not necessary to participate in this community to post your banner on our exchange, we would appreciate it. Any member that promotes their web site on any message board (that is: any member that only posts about their site and never about themselves - you can include the address or banner for your web site in your member introduction) other than the designated message board, will be banned. Also, any member to lists a site that contains or links to religious discrimination, pornography, hatred of any kind will be banned. With or without explanation.

5) This community is rated general. This means that while we will allow you to post material that can be considered more mature, you must put that it is of a mature nature in the subject line. Not in the message itself. We reserve the right to delete this message if it does not state in the subject that it is of an adult nature. You can repost it correctly after it is removed.

6) Do not link to any humor site that can be deemed offensive to any group. (There are exceptions to this rule; any Saddam Hussein or Bin Laden humor is allowed, such as Bomb Bin Laden games.)

7) The administration reserves the right to remove any message they deem offensive.

8 ) All teachers are required to teach. If any teacher does not show up to class on two occasions they will be replaced with or without notification.

9) Students may sign up for a maximum of two classes per semester. Our semesters overlap, so a student can be in up to four classes at one time.
![]()
10) All students are required to attend the classes they have signed up for. If a student is missing from class (for email or message board classes this means work is missing) three times without notification (meaning, student has not contacted instructor with a reason) student will be removed, their account will be deactivated, and if the student is using campus email, their account will be suspended. This can be rectified by talking to the administration , explaining the situation.

11) We would like to remind you that The Pagan Online Campus will not tolerate hate organizations, pagan or otherwise and will not be accepting members from any web site that belittles, or promotes the hatred of ANY religions (especially Christianity). If anyone is found to be a participant in a hate group (and we WILL find you) they are subject to immediate expulsion and depending on how well we know you and the severity of your participation will be reported to MSN.

12) Our member list or registration boards may not be used for spam. Any member caught sending group or web site invitations of any sort to a member will be removed from the group and their classes. If you receive an invitation to a group or web site from a person you do not know, please email the administration and they will check it out. Please only contact them if you get an invitation to a group and do not know the person who sent it.

13) Breaking any of these rules may result in being banned with or without notice. There may or may not be a trial of your peers. We will try, and in cloudy situations we will try to be understanding, however, we promise nothing.

14) There is no minimum or maximum of messages a member can post on the message board. Our only requirement is that all posts must have some relevance. We will delete any one-liner posts.

Rules are subject to change without notice. If you have any question regarding these guidelines, please email the administration .
