All About Registering
We know that the registration process here can seem a bit hairy, but there are actually reasons behind it, and once you are familiar with the process it is actually very easy to do.
The classes that are available for a given Quarter will be listed under the "Class Schedule" link, as well as under the link "Course Syllabi." If a class you want to take is not listed for the upcoming session it will probably be offered in the following one.
When the registration is open for the upcoming classes, and especially if it is your first time to register for classes, you need to make sure you have an account set up in the main message board section of the Campus. After you have your account set up and confirmed make sure you are signed into the message board and click the box that says "Log me on automatically each visit." Click on the link to the left under the heading "Learning Center" that says "Registration." You can sign up for your two classes there.
Once you are signed up and accepted by the instructor you will be given access to the private forum for the classes you have been accepted to. These boards are located here in the main message board near the bottom of the main page. It is in these private forums that the instructor will contact you with information about the class, things you may need to know, or to answer any questions you may have before the beginning of class. It is also in these forums that most instructors give the enrollment key to the classroom when they are ready for you to enter it.
You instructors will post the enrollment key to the classroom about a week before the classes are scheduled to start in the classroom section of the Campus ("Classrooms" link to the left). Make sure you have set up an account there as well.
Anyway, when the classrooms are opened by your instructors they will allow you access. You are not allowed access before that because many times there are classes going on and it would not be nice to interrupt the students that are doing their thing. If you have any questions feel free to contact administration or leave a message on the message board and someone will help you out as much as they can.
