Disclaimer

Due to costs and locations, we cannot all become licensed herbologists and doctors. I, Kathy Coffey (BlackSerpent Nightshade), am not a licensed herbologist, nor am I a doctor or nurse practitioner. I have studied herbs on my own for several years and am basing this class on that experience, along with numerous texts that are listed in the bibliography.

This course was designed to pass on information that I was given access to, and for you to deal with in an adult manner. I supply this information with the best intentions in mind, so please do not hold me responsible for any actions that YOU take from using herbs in any form. I am not telling you to take the herbs, just giving you the information on them.

Before taking any kind of herbal, please contact your licensed herbologist or physician and discuss using the herbal. I cannot stress this enough. You will want to know how it will effect any other medications you may be on, or if it will upset any conditions you may have. So make sure to speak with your doctor or licensed herbologist before using herbals.

You must be 18 years of age or older to take this class. There will be no exceptions to this rule. I cannot have angry parents coming to me and saying they didn't sign the permission slip, that their child did, and that their child took an herb and had a reaction to it and they want to sue me for it. This is something I want to avoid. It is also a reason for this disclaimer. I am just passing along information, not giving out medical advice or telling you to take an herb for this or that. Those things are up to your doctor.
