Lady of the Harvest
Board Member, Director of Education
Western Astrology and Celtic Spirituality

Growing up in a fundamentalist Christian household and a Jewish community, Lady of the Harvest was easily persuaded by my family to pursue christianity to its highest level of scholarship and in college, she studied "biblical languages", double majoring in Hebrew and German. After a prolonged personal trauma which lasted close to 15 years, she found herself emotionally wounded and grasping for something more satisfying. Thus she left the Christian path for an Earth-based spirituality. For the past several years she has pursued Celtic Shamanism and core Shamanism as she studied her family's Scottish-Celtic roots. A strong scholarly background gave her the tools to pursue self-study in many areas including gemology, the tarot, candle magick and astrology. She lives on a farm in with six Terriers, one Papillon, and a Maine Coon cat. Her husband, Charlie, remains in the Christian faith but is open-hearted and respects the beauty of the Earth paths that honor this planet and all its relations.

Shamanism, Magickal and Medicinal Herbology

Shady has been an active participant in Wicca for only a few years now, but has heard the calling since birth, ever present in her life, urging her onwards and never letting go. She feels very passionately about helping to teach the paths that have changed her life. Her current interest is Draconic Magick. She has been practicing as a solitary, using a little bit of everything she learns. She feels learning is something we never stop doing. Everyone has something to contribute no matter how long they have been on the path, we only need to open our hearts and minds to listen. She enjoys writing poetry and some short stories, reading, learning, music, my family, nature, and teaching. She became an active participant in the Campus ages ago, and has faithfully contributed here and in the shaman ic"Sacred Circle" wing.

Ariel Wyon Odin
Staff Representative Board Member

Ariel has been studying/practicing Wicca for a little over 5 years now. She fell in love with the campus and moved with us when we moved from MSN. Ariel was studying as an eclectic solitary and decided she needed more structure. After several personal battles and coming back recently from a personal meditative sabbatical she has re-grounded in her Wiccan path and is looking forward to welcoming and encouraging and helping new students and is looking forward to teaching again sometime in the future. Ariel practices Candle Magick and is very interested in Celtic history, astrology, divination and healing and is looking forward to learning the ways of the Shaman. Ariel is happily married, lives in MI, is a Nurse Supervisor in a nursing home near her town, and is the proud mom of two teenaged boys.

Phoenix is a happily married, 36 year old, work at home, mom of two, living in rural PA and has been on the Pagan Path for about 5 years. Crafting has been a hobby of hers since early childhood and as a profession for about 10 years. She figures you tend to pick up a few things when you are born with… an inquisitive mind, a father who is a professional “Jack of all Trades”, and a mother (and both grandmothers) who are seamstresses and who all were active Girl Scout, Boy Scout, and 4H leaders at one time or another.
